holds the original document, from his application for a pension which was granted based on his service.

Apparently William McGraw, Sr. lived in Fairfield Co., S. C. until about 1819 according to his pension application when he moved to Edgefield

District, S. C., probably to be closer to his children. I also think he moved to Georgia for awhile after 1790 but came back to S. C. before 1819 as he was in Edgefield Co., S. C. by then.

William McGraw, Sr. names twelve children in his Will. His wife Esther Parr and in her statement to the D. C. Pension Board regarding William's death on 9/29/1830. She state she is living with her son Amos McGraw at his house. The state of S. C. gave her $30.00 a year pension based on William McGraw's service in the Revolution. William's pension was $60.00 a year. This information along with William's pension
